2010 RLMF Cheerleading Tryouts

Pee Wee, Pony and Midgets cheerleaders have practice Monday through Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and will be assigned a time to come for tryouts on Friday. Tryout practice is primarily at Red Mill Elementary. Each level will have one evening at our gym located at Red Cedar Plaza for jump, tumbling and stunting review.

There is a parent meeting for ALL (including smurf parents Ð Monday, 4/12 at 6:15 in the cafeteria at Red Mill).

PLEASE DO NOT ENTER RED MILL UNTIL RLMF STAFF SAYS YOU CAN BECAUSE THEY HAVE A LATCH KEY PROGRAM AND WE CAN NOT ENTER UNTIL THEY ARE DONE.

Smurfs do NOT tryout and do not participate in tryout week Ð grade 1 and 2 - 2010/2011 school year.

Pee Wee (10 and under, grades 3 and 4 2010/2011) Monday Ð Red Mill, Tuesday Ð RLMF GYM, Wednesday Ð Red Mill, Thursday Ð Red Mill.

Pony (12 and under, grades 5 and 6 2010/2011) Monday Ð Red Mill, Tuesday Ð Red Mill, Wednesday Ð RLMF Gym, Thursday Ð Red Mill.

Midget (7th and 8th grade 2010/2011) Monday Ð Red Mill, Tuesday Ð Red Mill, Wednesday Ð Red Mill, Thursday Ð RLMF Gym.

Your child will be assigned a number on Monday night and this will be her number when results are posted.

On Thursday evening at 7:45 parents are welcome to come in and the girls will perform what they have learned during the week. Pee Wee and Pony at Red Mill and Midget at RLMF Gym.

All high school girls (9th through 12th 2010/2011) will be trying out in May. Practice at RLMF Gym Ð 6 to 8pm Monday 5/10 and Tuesday 5/11. Will be assigned time to come tryout on Thursday 5/13.

Practice during tryout week is closed to parents. Girls should wear appropriate clothing during practice week Ð shorts (no jeans) and a loose fitting t shirt. Hair should always be pulled up. Girls should have water with them. Attire for tryouts on Friday evening is plain red or navy shorts and a plain white t-shirt. Girls will be assigned an arrival time 10 minutes prior to their tryout. If they are late they will not be allowed to tryout and will automatically be placed on the JV team and will forfeit an opportunity to cheer on a competitive team... so make sure your daughters are there at the assigned time. Tryout results will be posted on the garage door at our gym and online before midnight on Friday night.
